Thomas Wayne McIntyre December 24, 1955 - February 25, 2016 Thomas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family at the age of 60. Tom was the loving husband of Debbie, proud father of Joseph and Marie, son of the late Virgil and Helen McIntyre and son-in-law of Edward and Sylvia Vance. Dearest brother of Marilyn (the late David) Gendich and Patrick (Sue) McIntyre and brother -in-law of Ronald Vance, Diane (Harry) South and Brian Vance. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom loved life and lived it to the fullest as he was a man with many hobbies, interest and talents. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, skiing and camping. Over the years Tom obtained his instrument rated private pilot license, his builders license and his Professional Engineering License. He loved music and played the guitar by ear. He was passionate about hockey both as a player and a coach, where some of his fondest memories were assistant coaching the Northville High School Girls Hockey Team. He was a true family man and his children were his greatest pride and joy. Memorial Gathering Sunday, 2-8 p.m. at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home-Northrop Sassaman Chapel, 19091 Northville Rd., (at Seven Mile Rd) There will be a Gathering Monday 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Dr., (at Center St and Main) until time of Memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Angela Hospice or Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF.org) would be appreciated.
