We are so happy that we were able to reconnect 10 years ago and that you were able to spend time at our home. Always in our hearts. Jerry and Kathy Jones
I am saddened to hear of Billy's death. I have known Billy since 2nd grade and he was my dear friend and neighbor. We played together all through elementary school. Every reunion we would meet up and reminisce and I will miss not seeing him.
Billy and his twin brother Bobbie were two very close friends from the time I met them in 7th grade all through High School and beyond. Bobbie and I drove a semi croos country as a team and had many fun times. We were 3 days apart in age and ceIebrated many a birthdays together. I helped Billy remodel his first home. We had never done drywall work before and somehow came up with the idea that you used plaster of paris for the joints. After repeated attempts to mix it and get it on the wall before it hardened ( about 1-2 minutes ) we decided we had to be doing something wrong. LOL We had numerous buckets, mudpans and drywall knives with hardened plaster stuck all over them, a mess on the walls where we tried to apply tape to the seams. Then add in all the empty beer bottles laying all over along with the buckets, powder all over ourselves and everything in sight. About that time we came to the conclusion that it could not be the right product to be using. We gave up on working but not drinking and enjoyed many a laugh at how stupid we must look. I will miss not seeing him at the reunion. Many good memeories of a close friend. Miss you brother.
