Graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1965. Attended College on a Track Scholarship and I am still in record books for two events after over 50 years.
Served in the US Army from August 1965 until June 1986. Retired from the Army in 1986 with the rank of Major. Served in Combat in Viet Nam as infantry platoon leader in 1967 to 1968. Worked in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice until my retirement.
School Story

Graduated from Lockney High School in 1960. Played football and ran track. Place 5th in the State Track meet in 1960. I ran the half mile.
