David was the first boy to ever fall in love with me! I was in second grade at Emmett Belknap School.
He followed my younger sister and I home from school one day (well, probably many days) but the day I remember the most clearly was the day he pushed me down into some bushes and then tried to kiss me. I was struggling to get away from him when all of a sudden, he let out a holler and then ran away as fast as he could. When I pulled myself to my feet, I asked Gail what happened. She said "I bit him". I said "where?" She said "on the bum". We laughed all the way home.
