Marianne Schultz (Homer) 

August 14, 1950 - November 25,  1977

 

Marianne was killed in a car accident on Friday, November 27, 1977 in Richmond, Utah. Marianne was born in Washington, DC on August 14, 1950, a daughter of Orville Benjamin and Mary Covert Schultz. She had two older brothers, Paul and Thomas, plus a younger sister, Lolly. 

 

The family moved to Logan after the death of their father. Marianne graduated from Logan High School in 1968. She also attended USU and Weber State College.

 

Marianne married Grant Wendell Homer on October 4, 1974 in Granger. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She was the mother of three sons and one daughter. They had lived in Tremonton, where she is buried in the Riverside Cemetery, and Roosevelt.

 

Marianne was an active member of the LDS Church and had served as a Primary teacher, Primary President and YW teacher. 

 

At the time of her death, Marianne was survived by her husband, Grant; sons, Robert and Paul; daughter, Susan; sister, Lauralee (Lolly); brothers, Paul and Tom; mother, Mary Schulz; and maternal grandmother, Emily Covert.
