After graduating from LHS I attended USU for a year, went on a mission, returned to USU for a year, then transferred to BYU where I graduated in Civil Engineering. I moved back to USU for an MS before starting a career. I worked for a few years in Salt Lake, then returned again to USU to get a PhD in Civil Engineering. When that was completed my new job took me to Denver for a few years, then I moved back to Salt Lake and started my own consulting practice in hydrology and water resources.
While living in Salt Lake the last time I married Lisa Robison (from Colorado), and we've been busy raising our 6 children. Having been pretty slow to get married, my children are not much older than many of your grandchildren. Unlike some of the rest of you, I won't be retiring any time soon (it seems like kids ought to see their Dad going to work). In 1993 we moved our family and my consulting practice to La Grande, Oregon, where we still live.
Life has been very good to me. I have a wonderful family. We keep busy with children and church. Best wishes to you all. It's been fun to read about you.
