Thomas Paul Trolson, 55, passed away Friday, May 26, 2012, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray following a heart attack. Tom was born Feb. 3, 1957, to Keith and Marie Bradshaw Trolson in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He married Debbie A. Maurer on June 16, 1979, and they had two sons.
Tom graduated from Logan High School. He worked for Bucyrus Erie in Pocatello as a welder, the Wurlitzer Company as a piano finish wood patcher, then at Cache Valley Builders and finally at Vulcraft in Brigham City for the last 28 years as a certified welding inspector. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Tom was a perfectionist and took pride in everything he did, whether it was on his job or in his home. He enjoyed doing remodeling projects in his home and always had a project in the works. He also enjoyed working on and riding his Harley.
He had a lot of fun on his recent trip to Europe with his wife and had looked forward to another trip this fall. Tom had a big heart, a sarcastic sense of humor, oftentimes said just what he thought and always enjoyed meeting new people. He was very proud of his wife and two sons and loved them very much - and he loved his dog, Oscar. He is loved very much and he will always be a part of us.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons, Jared (Jasmine) and David; grandchildren, Tristan, Alyvia and Payton; sisters, Kathy (Matt) Anderson, Cindy (Kelly) Lauritzen, Lori (Conell) Olsen and Lynn (Bill) Bauer; brothers Robert (Barbara) Trolson and Jeff Trolson; and his stepfather, John Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael K. Trolson.

Tom was a great guy. I became his son Jared's principal at Cache High School. I'm not sure why I remember this memory about Tom but I loaned him a lunch ticket our 7th grade year at Logan Junior High - Go Buffaloes! He never paid me back for that ticket. When his son Jared came to Cache High School, I teased Jared and told him to tell his Dad that he still owed me a lunch ticket. We chucked over this for several years.
