Richard was one of my earliest friends. We were about 7 or 8 and used to stage races around the neighborhood. I always thought I could beat him, but it never happened. My mother and his mom were friends as well. I think they secretly hoped that we would grow up and get married! Although we lost touch in the years that followed, I remember him very fondly from my childhood in "the Ranchos" neighborhood. RIP, Richard.
Richard was part of my Cubberley Elementary School, DeMille and Millikan, but I remember him best from our bike riding adventures during our Cubberley years. RIP Richard - you will be missed at our 50th Reunion.

Tim Carey
Dick and I went all through school together - good friend, quiet, shy.
He played clarinet and I played trumpet, so we spent good years together in band and orchestra.
Rest in Peace, Dick

My father played Saxaphone and Clarenet. I did not know Richard, but shared a first name with my father. RIP Richard.
