Trent Evans

Trent Keilgaard Evans

1948 ~ 2012

Trent Keilgaard Evans passed away at home in Provo, Utah on January 24, 2012. He was born February 21, 1948 to Harry Thomas Jr. and Agnes Genevieve Hansen Evans in Provo, Utah.

He had a wonderful childhood growing up in Small Town Provo. Trent was a very intelligent child with a love for reading every book he could get his hands on. He read so much in his lifetime that he truly was a "walking encyclopedia", with enormous knowledge on a wide range of subjects including history, literature, art, music, philosophy, medicine, politics and sports.

The family moved to Long Beach, CA in 1956, when Trent was eight years old. Trent married Clarita Roah after High school and they had one son, Leif. They were later divorced.

Trent loved sports and was very good at playing baseball, basketball, football, boxing and body surfing; but his first love was baseball. He was a very good pitcher and his knowledge of the rules, how to play and the history of the game was astonishing, to say the least.

Trent attended Brigham Young University, Long Beach City College and Golden West College. He continued his self-guided education his entire life, even reading a book on the day he died. Incidentally, he died in his Levi boot jeans and a western shirt. He never liked hospital "gowns".

Trent Moved back to Utah in 1978 and eventually married Tammy Durrant. They had a daughter, Destiny. They later divorced.

Trent was very proud of his children. Leif is attending college in CA and Destiny in Boston, MA.

Trent is survived by his children; two brothers, Harry Gregory Evans and Geoffrey Oscar Evans and several cousins that Trent loved very much as well.
