Zack attended Patrick Henry and DeMille and we were life long friends. He was decorated for valor while serving in the 173rd Airborne. He was employed by the City of LA as a  Bus Driver following his service and lived with his non-identical twin, Zale (Class of 65), in Cambria at the time of his death.  He was quick to laugh and easy to please, the best hitch-hiking buddy I ever had as we made our way to Seal Beach most summer days during Jr. High.

I knew both of the Schuster brothers. Zale was in a car club with Dale Irwin or Elad as they called him. Dale was the brother of one of my HS friends. Both of the Schuster brothers were very nice and a quick wit. I had many a classes with Zack at DeMille and Millikan. Because both of our last names began with an "S", we were often paired up when they required teams. I am sorry to hear of his passing.  Thank you Zack for your service to our Country. You will be missed. God Bless and Rest in Peace.

I'll always remember Zack Schuster.  Zack and Zale were my boyfriend's good friends.  Either one or both of the twins would come to my house in the Ranchos on hot summer days and go swimming.  We would play the Healthkit stereo as loud as it wouild go and jump off the garage roof into the pool. No injuries!  Zack was more frequent at our house because he was a little closer at the time to Mike Scott, my boyfriend/future husband (44 years and counting).  He signed my Millikan HS yearbook with a very sentimental message only Zack would have written.  We both miss him.
