In Memory

Larry Berg

Larry Berg, 1947-2015. Larry passed away due to Sepsis on January 20,2015 at his ranch in Ramona. His wife Cindy Lockard Berg, daughter Larene and son-in-law Gary were at his side. He died like he lived, his way.
Cindy sent this to be put on his Memorial page:
Larry and I met in 7th grade at Stanford Jr. Hi, in home room Mr. Welch, wood shop teacher. We never dated in school, but our path's crossed ironically after graduation. I married and got an apartment. Larry married and got an apartment kitty corner to mine and we never knew it. Then I bought a house on Ostrom a few blocks from his folks house and he bought a house on Studebaker not far from my house. Our paths crossed daily unbeknownst  to us. After we both were divorced we were brought together by Sharon Weeks Maupin November 9, 2001 and have been together every day since.
Larry was the most loving , wonderful best friend and husband you could wish for. He was loving, giving son, father and grandfather.
Larry's friends were more than friends, they were family. If anyone needed help Larry was the first one to be there always. He had a HUGE heart and love for all of his friends.
We had a wonderful, loving life together and I miss him terribly.
To all of his friends, please know that he loved you all dearly and is still loving you.
Happy Trails My Darling. I will be with you once again when it is my time.
