Ed and I were friends, and practiced basketball moves during the summers during high school.  I was not supprized when I returned from the military he had made the varsity basketball team at CSULB.  Ed Reid was a loyal, gental, and kind friend.  Love you Ed, from Phil

Eddie (as I knew him) and I lived just a few houses apart in the "Ranchos" near el Dorado Park, and went through Cubberly ES, DeMille JHS, and Millikan together.

Great friends growing up - we built model sailboats at the Lagoon and spent many happy hours in sailing regattas.  Lost touch when I went away permanently in the Air Force, but did have one memorable get-together in Long Beach years later.

Wonderful, kind, shy personality, and always a good and loyal friend - you only meet a few of those in a lifetime.
