Helen Hathaway (Webber)

Helen Hathaway Weber Beloved sister, daughter, and friend, Helen Hathaway Weber died January 4, 2013, in Houston, Texas after a valiant seven month battle with leukemia. Born March 30, 1948, in Tokyo, Japan, raised in Long Beach, California, Helen moved to Austin in 1976, where she worked as a computer programmer for the State of Texas at Fiscal Services, Texas Water Commission, and Health and Human Services. She moved to Webberville in 1993 where she retired. Helen loved Longhorn baseball, live music, gardening, and fellowship with her many friends. Survivors include her mother, Mary Hathaway, brothers, James and Thomas Hathaway, and a huge community of musicians, gardeners, and friends who enjoyed her contagious smile, hospitality, and friendship at Bottomland Blooms. Please be advised that Helen's mother is ill, and has not been notified; we request that you refrain from contacting her at this time. A celebration of Helen's life will be held Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2:00pm, at 20100 Belinda Ln. Webberville, TX 78753.
