Ed Perley
To his credit, Ed Perley is most remembered as a wonderful person. He was the authentic "good guy"....kind, friendly, intelligent, witty and good hearted. He cared about people and it shows in the reactions of his fellow classmates. Ed will be sorely missed. Following a successful career in aviation, Ed passed away of cancer in July, 2013. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lauren, his granddaughter Margaux and his sister, Carole.

I knew Ed through Stanford and then at Millikan. Our fathers use to bowl in the same league at the old
Circle Lanes right behind the Clock resturant at Ximeno and PCH. We spent many friday nights hanging
out together at the bowling alley. Eddie you were a great guy and you are missed.

Some of my best recollections of Ed Perley go back to grade school. In particular I recall the flat top haircut with the side fins swooped back like the tail fins on a 57' Chevy. I remember a time when I was at his house were he was proudly showing me his electric train set (think it was an American Flyer train). If I recall I think he had the nick name "Bud" which I heard his mom call him. Also remember him from our week trip to Camp O'ongo while in the 6th grade at Prisk. He could be a real "cut up" at times. Sorry to hear of his passing.
