Anita Kilpatrick VIEW PROFILE

Information about Anita "Candy" Kilpatrick was provided by Pam Rhyne

Candy and I moved to Berkeley with friends in 1970, where she graduated from the University on scholarship. I was always proud to call her my friend, she was intelligent and hard working in high school and throughout her life. She fought to become the first female Park Ranger in Marin County. Lived in Asheville, North Carolina for some 20 years and continued to work as a Federal Park Ranger; returned to Sausalito, California where she settled with second husband Jay Eickenhorst also a Park Ranger. She and Jay sang in choirs, especially at their Episcopal Church in Sausalito. She worked with the San Francisco Veterans Administration for many years before she passed away on Nov 1, 2010 having never recovered from a stroke a few days before.
