Can anyone tell me what happened to Karen Monroe??? I went thru school with her from Patrick Henry Elementary until Millikan. She was the sweetest person ever. I'm surprised there is nothing here about her. RIP dear darling Karen, she was so involved with our annual. Very talented sweet person.
I understand she passed away from cancer several years ago. Sandy Klinger was the one who told me. She didn't learn about it until after she had passed away.
I was roomates with her and Sandy for one semester at BYU and then basically lost contact with her as I haven't lived in Southern California since graduating from high school, except to go home during the summer while at college. Karen was a sweet, kind, fun person!
Thank you so much for that information Nancy. Louie Hockel and his brother Steve wanted to know about Karen also. She was a little pixie of a girl and so sweet. She left her family so early. My gosh. Thank you again for letting us know what happpened to this lovely woman.
I so remember Karen. Looking at her face in the yearbook brought back fond memories of her. Such an early departure from life. Very sad...but, happy memories!
