Howard Cunningham

I am very sorry to hear of Howard's passing. I've had numerous long conversations with Howard, over the past number of years... mostly about our website or plans for reunions.

I even made a special badge for him at our 50th. It listed him as Mr. C... and had an image of Fonzie on it, along with Howard's own visage.

In fact, Howard was the one that kind of needled me into surveying interest in a 55-year Reunion. The reunion was a big success, and I have Howard to thank, even though I don't think he ended up attending. Pehaps he was already diagnosed with the cancer?

Through this helpful website, I was happy to be in touch with Howard all over again after those high schooll yrs. As the chair of the O.F.C., he stood out as a true believer in his Ramhi teammates & classmates. I remember him as an inspiring co-captain of the JV football team in the fall of '66, a season which included a thrilling tie vs. Lakewood. In recent yrs, he could easily look back at his Millikan days & have a good laff! RIP Howard.
