OMG! That yearbook pic! Still had braces on and mouth very swollen from the metal. Those two years wearing them was very painful at times. Envy the kids today who have so many options for a nice smile.
Timm's health forced an early retirement and I work. Have a wonderful, flexible job with RTI International. Been there for 20 years. Oversee the shipping area and inspection of incoming material. My location makes medical implants...Those screws, plates, surgical instruments etc, placed/used, may have come from us.
I adopt 'rescue' dogs and cats. Early in their life they have been abused either physically or mentally. They are shown, in my home...LIFE CAN BE GOOD AND KIND WITH LOVE ABOUND! The love given back is very over whelming.
Am presently learning (self taught) how to quilt and embroider. Hint...my only class taken on sewing was back in 8th grade! *remember the dress we all had to make? I still have it. What was I thinking in regards to the color/pattern! When Mom passed away a few years back....inherited all her sewing machines and accessories. One was brand new! She never had a chance to use it....Cancer took her! That is one bad 'six letter word.'!! Left behind is a vast assortment of personal notes, fabric, books and started projects but never finished. Slowly trying to finish those projects and start a few of my own.
I had a small challenge with 'cancer' also. Mine was a skin type. Luckily it was not melanoma. Now avoid the sun when I can and use 50 or better sunscreen. It is important to all of you to double check 'all' moles. Don't be afraid to ask questions with your physician. Be persistent!
Have now added 'new' projects....making 'jewelry', 'ornaments' and 'dream catchers'. Visit my store, Home Made Ornaments, on Etsy, to see my creations! *also on FB
Presently am living in my final home. Not moving until that spot is opened up for me @ Fort Snelling. Proud to say my husband served in the Marines and fought in Vietnam. A war that gave no respect to the ones who served during that time! SAD!
Enjoy working in my garden/yard. What the 'mother nature' has given in the is so amazing. To watch/tender something so simple grow into a beautiful flower/plant/food....WOW!
Every day is a gift to enjoy with family, friends. Appreciate what is around you. Because that is what really matters!
Wish all of you a safe and happy life!

WOW! Just viewed your website. Your work is breathtaking!
Sorry, unable to attend! Was really looking forward to seeing everyone! Home life kept me back these past few days, along with an ER visit. Post pictures/stories! Thank you! If you are on FB, friend me, so at least we can keep in touch that way until we can all meet again.
