Hugh Ingersoll....was a close friend and a brilliant person......as we played in a band together (Plain City Band) from 1971 to 1979....doing several hundred gigs.....including a show in 1977 at the St. paul civic center Auditorium...and at First Avenue when it was known as Uncle Sams.........i knew him well. He was a brilliant composer...singer....and a fantastic bassist. Had he lived, I know for a fact he would have gone to the top ...of the music business....which is saying a lot. He had it all...huge talent...and most importantly...ambition. He accomplished much much more than is generally known. But I have the recordings!! Hugh passed away in the Fall of 1979....(October?...).....it was a devastating loss for all of us. Regarding the other classmates that we have lost....I/we knew them all...and miss them dearly.
