Mike.. or Mickie as many of us knew him.. was a guy who knew how to have fun. I had contact with him a couple of years before he passed away. He was so proud of his son and wife. He was a good family man. I will miss him forever.Jeff Nicklos
Mickey, I'll always remember stealing your moms cigarettes, and smoking them in the shop. Can't believe the news. Rest in peace my friend.Randy Powell
I Met Mickie in 79 . then again in 1981 He was walking across the parking lot between our barracks. we were stationed togather in Fligelhorst Kaserne in Germany. We were both in the 205th transportation batallion. He was in B Company I was in HQ/A Company It was a long time ago but we drank a few beers togather among other things. I never expected to see a former classmate so far from home. We had the same job working on helicopters. We both enjoyed doing it and partied in the usual fashion after work. From reading his bio from the school stuff I am glad he finally found some happy. I am still searching . God Bless You and all of us in our class that served. REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOUR FAMILY ENDURE AND CONCOUR ALL. Your friend Randy Powell.
