What can I say, I married in 1983 and divorced after 12 years. The only thing that came out of that marriage was my 2 daughters. Soon after I divorced I met a wonderful man. We dated for many years and married in 2000. We eloped to Idaho and was married in a wonderful western chapel called the hitching post. We loved to go camping and fishing. In june of 2002 He was diagnosed with cancer and much to my dismay he was gone on April 2, 2003, 4 days before our 3rd wedding anniversary. Vowing that I will never get married again I set out to continue working and raising the girls. At this time I was still working at Longview Christian. I was the Preschool/ school age department supervisor. One of my staff lost her mom in the August after I lost my husband. She introduced me to her father who was looking for a "buddy" to do things with. We met on February 11th and were married on March 20th.
I became the Mom to 6 along with being a Nana which I love. After working at Longview Christain for about 25 years and married to a shift worker (Fibre) we decided it was time for me to hang up my "bosses" hat and start enjoying life. It did not take me long to find other things to do. For 3 years I had my own business. I was a Karaoke DJ in a bar in Clatskanie. I also did weddings and other events. I always said I had the best job. I got paid 2 nights a week to party and make sure everyone had a good time. Over the last year Fibre has cut back and laid off hundreds. We decided that it was time for me to find a "real" job. And that is how I Became a director of the Academy.
Update 2019- my husband and I are full time RVers. We have a 43 ft Raptor toy hauler that carries the Harley. We have plans to tour the USA. We still ride but we now have a Harley triglide. We just had our 14th grandchild born in April. We are truly blessed.

Dave And I are the current ABATE of Oregon state run coordinators. We recently finished a 3 day biker rally camp out called Fossil, in Fossil Oregon. And are now enjoying life.
