I saw the message about not having funds for the reunion.

Is there any possible way people can do some sort of fundraiser before the reunion to help pay for people that would not otherwise be able to attend for financial reasons?

Just an idea that I had.

I am still not decided if I will be attending or not.

Thanks for posting Michelle!  I think it's totally possible to arrange some fundraisers beforehand, if people are interested in doing so.  But, I think that as long as people are honest with the reunion committee and open to accepting help, we should not have to exclude ANYONE for financial reasons. 

I think they could volunteer/work and help us set-up and tear down, or help sell raffle tickets during the reunion, etc.  There are a lot of things that we'll need help with, and their help could replace their ticket cost perhaps?  We have a lot to think about, but I know FOR SURE that we've discussed not excluding anyone for financial reasons, so we'll make it happen.

I think this is a great discussion to start, and I'd like to know other ideas that people have for raising funds...
