RE: Mini Reunion

The Ageless One says "Sounds wonderful...... I'm going to get a new bathing suit!"

I agree.....'cept about the bathing suit part for me....her's is enough; I'll wear my old gun rags and flip flops.

Hi mates of the Great Class of '69 Lyman High School...remember WE were the last to graduate from the original school, which some of our parents did also...my Uncle Carlyle Swofford was responsible for the Greyhound sponsorship!

From the pictures and slide show you guys had a great time at the reunion. I was in Altamonte at the time having surgery from my latest and FINAL horseback injury...I have given them up for good!

I hope the mini reunion can happen this summer; like those of us living off the grid say...God willing and the creek don't rise...I'll be there!

Send me a message, I would love to hear from all of you!!!

Patti

I will have to show for the mini reunion. I must admit, I thought nobody would remember me and I would be embarrassed in front of my wife and everything. Did anyone do the "ride up in a brand new Mercedes or BMW and chauffer" thing to fake people out? hahahaha

I remember you, John...you may not remember me...so FUNNY about the Merecedes/BMW thing, because my husband's Union has sent him out of state to work at a new "state of the art"  BMW plant...every vehicle they build is already paid for, Test track is built like Daytona Super speedway and employees can lease up to 14,000 miles, get a new one and turn the other in to be sold as a Demo!  So yes if we could come to the "mini" we would, in a new Beamer, but, we are expecting!!!...NO not this old gal...my new female Certified Cadaver K9 Service German Shepherd should have her first pups around that time!...I am retired due to disability now so the dogs are safer for me than the Horses which I will always love and miss very much!...Hope your life is satisfying and fulfilling!

Wanted to let all you "Greyhounds" know that my brother, Rickey Leigh Heath, who was 64, went to be with "God in Heaven" on November 30th., 2013.  He died of an aparent heart attack this past Saturday.  Although, he did not graduate from Lyman, he attended in our school district until the 10th grade when he moved back to Batavia, New York to our Grandmother's and graduated there and then returned to Florida.  There will be a lot of you that knew Rickey and attended Bear Lake Elementary through South Seminole Junior High School with him.

He has left behind 4 children and 8 grandchildren and will be forever in our hearts and never to be forgotten.  heart

Hi fellow Greyhounds, Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this year's reunion. I've been living in New Hampshire since Martin Marietta Relocated me in 1998. I retired in 2011, still married to my wife of 44 years, Marcia. Remember my band 'Love's Children'? I'm still playing .... have a great reunion... Steve Nicarry

I can't believe our 5oth is coming up this year!! I haven't made the last 2 or 3 reunions and I don't think anyone would remember me or recognize me (maybe my basketball teammates). But...good Lord willing, I'll be there in November along with my bride of 37 years, Susie. I can't wait to see you all. 50 years...wow.  Chris Butterworth

Would anyone be interested in playing golf on Saturday morning, Nov. 2nd, ahead of the reunion festivities that night? I don't know where or cost but if there is interest we'll figure it out!
