Over the weekend, I was informed that classmate John Causey had passed away. I wish I had a photo of John to post, but I have looked online and I do not.
The following is part of his obituary...
John Walter Causey, Jr., 65, of Geneva, Florida, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born May 2, 1948 in Loris, South Carolina to John and Garlene (Stanley) Causey. He is survived by daughter Kandae Bates, mother Garlene Causey, brother Teddy Pait, and 4 grandchildren.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I had a huge crush on John in high school, and when he agreed to come to our reunion in 2009, I was so excited you would have thought we were both back at Lyman and he had asked me for a date. I had hoped we would see him again this year. We will miss you, John.

Jim and I are so sorry to hear about John! Jim and John were best friends for many years and he will miss John greatly. It warmed my heart to see them swap stories last June at the c/o '67 reunion and catch up on old times! We all had such fun together that weekend!
