James Pyburn

After high school I lived everybody's worst nightmare by staying in Los Alamos and going to UNM-LA for way too long. In 2003 I moved to Boulder to be a bum. Then I moved to Albuquerque to get my degree. Within 12 months I met my wife and got married. A year after our wedding Sasha was born, and a year later I finished my BS in Earth & Planetary Science. I went straight to grad-school at Boston College, where I am finishing my first year in the MS program. My thesis is addressing the question of hurricane frequency and intensity in relation to global warming.

This summer my family and I are moving to Houston to do an internship with ExxonMobil, ie, getting rich on black gold (global warming be damned!), so I am not sure if we will be making it to the reunion.
