Bill was ill but we don't know the details. He was at a couple of our reunions before he passed at age 41. Bill was basketball Captain in high school and in the Senior play.

John "Ellis" Tweten
Bill was a god friend even before I moved to Los Banos. When I was about 10 years old I started visiting Los Banos during the summer vacations. Billy was my Los Banos playmate. Living in Seattle most of my life and before that in N. Dakota, I thought nowhere on earth could be so hot. Billy taught me how to play basketball and drink ice cold bottles of Pepsi after our games. He was always fair and kind to me. He was a quiet person in many ways and had deep qualities that I admired. God Bless Billy.. Ellis Tweten
