Shirley was ill but we have no details. She died at age 54 in Fremont, California.  She joined the Army in 1957 serving in Alabama.  After her discharge from the Army she spent 10 years in Maryland working as an auditor in the banking industry in Washington D.C. She worked as a resturant manager in many different locations. She had one son.
