
Randall died in a single car accident at age 58.. He died right after our 40th class reunion. Jack Wheeler sat beside him during the reunion and Randall told him he had made plans to move to Fresno and start a medical practice. His picture at the reunion came out on the same page as his obituary in our local newspaper. Josie attended the funeral. He was a foot doctor. He served as President of the California Podiatric Medical Association from 1994-1996. He at one time owned an antique store in Los Gatos, California. He was a colletor of antiques and stamps and restored old cars..
He attended San Jose State University, graduating in 1962. He also obtained his Podiatry Degree from California Podiatry College, San Francisco in 1966. Dr. Torre served as a U.S. Army Captain at Fort Ord. Following military service he became Chief of Podiatry at the Fort Ord Army Hospital from 1966 to 1970. He specialized in foot surgery for returning Vietnam Veterans. He served 25 years as staff podiatrist for Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara. As an inventor of medical instruments, he is named in Who's Who of American Inventors. He was also a farmer and published author.
