Rita died of a gun shot at close range. Very shocking. Josie was her neighbor while growing up and a good friend. She was just 23 years old with 3 children who lost their mother. I still remember Rita as a drum majorette in the high school band.  She and I used to practice our baton twirling everyday when we were in 6th grade.(Josie)  She was also a Crest Theater usherette.
