John died in an auto accident on his way to Fresno just a little under 2 years out of High School. So Tragic! He was just 19 years old. Josie's family were good friends. John's life was just beginning.....We never got to see him as an adult. Remember John playing his clarinet in the band?

John was one of my favorite class mates. I think we always sat across from each other in high school. He was always teasing me or I was teasing him. We had great fun. I will always miss him and he died way too young. Greta
Jackie Wheeler
John was a special friend as we went to school together from first grade through highschool. I remember one day he put me on the ground and beat me up. Not too bad. I'm sure I deserved it. We played a lot of sports together. I remember when he died he was working for Beverly Mecchi's (Brown) father at the service station on the corner of sixth and hwy 152. I think of him often.
