Dale,
Am I going to have to start sitting with you and Kathy during worship again to make sure you are paying attention? I believe Bob, Dave and Kyle have been preaching that it is better to give than to receive and how God loves a cheerful giver. I know you are not speaking from Kathy's heart! See you soon.
Love and Hugs,
YOUR ONLY SISTER

Mike,
My husband has just recently had a job change and is not going to be able to get away on Friday to play. I am too terrible to play by myself so I'm going to bow us out. I hope that won't mess things up too bad. Maybe it will open things up for others who want to play. I would have let you know earlier but I was on the beach being attacked by a surf board. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see my shiner! It will probably be green by then. Sorry for such late notice!

Okay, this is a whole new topic, for the ladies only! Would anyone enjoy getting together on a more regular basis, say once a month or so, for a girls' night? Maybe going to dinner or bunco or just "girl time". I talked to Debbie Hurt Freeman about it and she's in. I would be willing to plan / host the first one if there is any interest.

Also, as with most all country clubs, proper attire is required. This includes, collared shirts, slacks, or shorts. No jeans or cut-offs are allowed.I will be personally contacting all players signed up thus far. We have 11 open spots if anyone else would like to play. See you all soon,

Sabrina,
Count me in. I don't know if I can make it every month but it sounds like fun to me. I think it would be a blast to reconnect. You know, it could be theraputic to stimmulate the memory core of our brains. It might also be dangerous!

If anyone needs a room the closest & cheapest is about a mile away from the country club. Only about 3 blocks on the main road which is Taylorsville Rd( near Hurstbourne Ln). It the Surbaban Extended Stay for $44 plus tax= $51. I havn't checked the rooms out but its a good price. Or Hurstbourne Lane has the next closest. The reunion, picnic and golf are all in the same area. The park on Lowe Rd right before you pull into subdivision for reunion. THE PICNIC there is a volleyball net, and covered pavillion, but bring your chairs there are only picnic tables. Anything you may want to eat or drink, & sports equipment bring it too. We have it from 12:00 till dark if wanted.

Hey everyone,
I've got some good news and bad news. Bad news first. Scot Hubbs won't be able to participate in the golf outing, or attend the reunion. Good news is, this morning Scot is receiving a kidney . For those who were unaware, Scot has had to be on dialysis for the last 3 years. Let's all keep Scot in our prayers, and pray for a speedy, and successful recovery.

Sherry Wray (Ennis)

hello everyone! I left Moore going into 10th grade, as many of us did...never to return. Anyway, I'm in town for the 30th and took my 12 year old to Moore today and they let me walk him through the school, it was a real time warp experience for me! I hate that they roofed over the lobby area outside the cafeteria and gym...it's what I talked up to Spencer. Oh well, time does indeed march on and sometimes not for the better. I'm looking forward to seeing any of you who remember me and I'll have a wonderful time either way!

DIRECTIONS: To Oxmoor Country Club is Taylorsville Rd about 1 1/2 mile West of Hurstbourne Ln. Turn on Lowe Rd at light. (The Dupre' Park is on the right for PICNIC) then turn in that next subdivision on the right. Go all the way to end of the street & turn left at the stop sign. Go to next right & you'll see Country Club to the right.

Hey everyone,
I've got good news, and bad news again. Bad news first. Someone on the administrative side for Scot's kidney transplant dropped the ball, and after being prepped and ready to go, by the time the kidney arrived, it was useless. That was the second time Scot had been called, and was unable to receive his new kidney. Good news is Scot, and his wife Sharon will be attending the reunion. I would also like to thank everyone who participated in the golf outing. We had a 100% turnout, and everybody had a GREAT time. Congratulations to the group of, Jim Wright, Mike Minogue, Mike Elliott, and Gary Larimore. They shot a 6 under par to win the scramble. See you all tonight, Mike
