My time at Moore is a distant memory. I attended Moore from 7th to 10th grade. Bussed to Male (downtown) my junior year and then on to Thomas Jefferson my senior year. Not sure I learned anything after April 1976, drivers license and freedom to cruise. Most of my friends were car guys and country road cruisin gals. Most of my time was with my first loves, my 67 Chevelle SS, 70 Monte Carlo, 77 Trans AM.... Next phase was time with my party friends, one year at UK, back home, first real job that lasted for 23 years. In 1984 I married way over my head to an older women, 1976 Moore grad Delilah Grider. I met her at church in 1981. Still not sure who changed my life more, God or her. We have been married for 34 years and have a daughter Rachel born in 1987. Rachel is a Nurse practitioner married to a LMPD officer and they have one child Avery (15 months), my first grandchild; what a blessing. My 38 year career has been in computers, IT. When my brain cleared from all the partying I was able to focus and get a good education. I worked full time while going to school full time to obtain my masters degree in Management of IT.
Looking forward to retiring in 2020 and spending time doing whatever I want to do. Please forgive me if I do not know you or remember you. I would love to talk to you and hear about your life journey over these 40 years from graduation.
