Richard “Richie” A. Sroufe of Louisville, age 61, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 7, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dorothy (Robinson) Sroufe; and his brothers Ronnie and Buddy Sroufe. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 34 years, Trina (Webb) Sroufe, daughters Tonya Webb and Amy Sroufe, his son Jeremy Webb and daughter-in-law Shelly Webb, seven grandchildren Kelsey, Trevor, Kinley, Serenity, JJ, Jordan, and Gavin, and one great grandson Easton, along with a host of family and friends.

Richie was born in Louisville, KY on November 11, 1960. He graduated from Moore High School in 1978. He was a volunteer firefighter and firefighter in the late seventies, early eighties. In 1983 he started his career at UPS. He was also going to school at Louisville Technical Institute where he graduated in 1987. He retired as a Regional Manager from UPS in 2016 after 34 years of service.

He loved spending time with his family and friends at Nolin Lake. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He raced go karts with his son in the nineties. He enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle. He was a mentor/sponsor for the past 24 years with AA. He was an amazing person and would do anything for anyone. He was loved by so many and touched so many lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A visitation for Richie will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday October 17, 2022 from 3PM-8PM. A funeral will be held the next day on Tuesday October 18, 2022 at 12PM.
