Thank you for the LONG messages to the SHORT family. LOL It keeps us all in the loop. We care and it is easier on you to say it once (like you do to your text buddies) than to talk to each and every individual. I thank you for the way you have let us know what is going on at all times. Prayers for Mickey and you continue daily. We will now include your mom. Stay positive, like THE SECRET says and put out those positive vibes into the universe. That energy and God's help will get us all through this difficult time. Love you lots.

I am going to work at church in the morning, go see Mickey, and stop by Mom's if things have been settled and she is back. Sorry about UL, but they had a great season.

Donn Dissell I just wanted to say a shout out to GOD... To Mickey , let him be along side you in the next few days. We hope to be with you and Cara tomorrow. Hi Tori & Donn - if you're still here.

Just got home - today was Mickey's best day yet I think. He was in pain this morning when I got to the hospital about 7:30 and they didn't bring him anything for pain until about 8:30. They do changeover at 7:00am so take a while to get settled in I guess. After that though he said the nurse took good care of him and made sure he did good. Just 1 more day - then we'll have to start the recovery all over again! Mickey said the surgery was scheduled for 7:30 so they'll probably get him started at about 6am. Guess I'll be spending the next couple of nights at the hospital. I asked my boss today about them taking his rib and if he would have complications because of that. He said he should not even notice it was not there. He said the rib cage's purpose was to hold everything together when you breath (when the diaphragm expands), and that they would not take a big enough piece to cause complications with that. God took Adam's rib and look what he got! God is good!

Yeah bunco buddies - we're still on for next Tuesday I guess. I have the bunco supplies all ready!

OK - off of here - gotta get some sleep tonight; Goodnight!

finally a few pics for you all! sorry i missed the party too! went to see mickey with david or him with me rather.he did look good and seemed very up beat . hated to leave him but have to work tomorrow. debi your smiley wAS so sad! i miss you too . call me and let me know if theres another party on the forum.
