Chip Nold, Barry Bryant and I once lowered a stuffed bird from the 3rd floor science storeroom so that it could fly outside Gary Prather's world history class. We didn't realize that people in the other wing of the building could clearly see what we were doing and who we were. Suddenly, the storeroom door flew open and an assistant football coach demanded to know what we were doing in there. One of us moved to block his view of the other two and said, "Science experiment."
