LANGFORD, NANCY J., 78 of Louisville, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Baptist Hospital East, after a short illness.
She was a breast cancer survivor and loved to attend Horses for Hope with her family. Nancy had retired from Sears and Roebuck Company, then found a new career at Caesars Indiana as a Blackjack Dealer. After retiring from Sears, She joined the Delta Tau Sorority, where she helped raise funds for St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, loved to travel with her friends, loved to play volleyball at American Turners Club on the river, where She was a member. Nancy never met a stranger and always relished in making people happy.
She was the former Nancy J. Beesley and was the daughter of the late Howard and Kate Beesley. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James O. Langford, a son, James Gregory Langford and several siblings.
Nancy is survived by her son, Christopher Scott Langford (Beth) and her grandchildren, Garrett, Gabi and Ashton Langford.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues with interment to immediately follow at Duncan Memorial Chapel at Floydsburg Cemetery in Oldham County. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Monday, August 1 at the funeral home.
