Oh no.! I tried to reconnect a few years back, but heard nothing from him. I just thought: a private fellow. Maybe he didn't remember me. May he Rest In Peace.

The recent photo shows that Otha aged very well, looking very dignified. I need to get a photo of myself!

Having the same last name, "Sonny" and I frequently sat next to each other in the classes which were seated alphabetically. He was an exceptional person and always a pleasure to be around.
I had thought many times about trying to contact him. I will always be sorry I did not do it.

I am sorry to learn of Otha's passing. I wish I had known him well enough to know that his nickname was "Sonny". He must have been a person of courage and resolve, and I admired him. I have often thought about what it must have been like for him to be at Waggener. He always struck me as a kind and decent person. I pray that his family will be comforted in this time of loss.

The one conversation with Sonny that stands out the most was his Christian testimony. Even as a teenager he had a strong faith in God. Sonny is in a good place. We should all strive to see him someday.

I wondered what happpened to otha after our graduation 1963. he served our country and defended us from harm overseas. I wish that i had known more people in our class. we all did quite well in our endeavors. Sympathy and prayers for his family. Otha was always so polite and nice to everybody.
