Bill was one of the good guys at Waggener. As a fellow Vietnam vet and also a "phone man" (for Verizon), we had similar career directions. Well done, Bill. Rest in peace. My prayers are with his family—cherish your memories of Bill..

Bill Nunnelley was a close and loyal friend during our first 25 years of life. His love and friendship, and that of his family continues to influence my passions and pastimes.

I praise his military service and hold regrets on how the Vietnam War created a division between us that we did not understand nor overcome.

On the final day of school in 1963, Bill drove the family tractor to the Waggener parking lot with me onboard.

Yeee Haaaa
