Spears, Thomas Dacer,
69, of LaGrange, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 with his family by his side.
He was born in Louisville, son of the late Virgil Dacer Spears and Bertha Benton Spears. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Network Manager for Bell South for 38 years until his retirement. Tom loved working on cars and motorcycles, and working on home improvement projects. He was also a little league football and baseball coach when his sons were young.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife, Eunice Glenn Spears.
He is survived by his four sons, Anthony (Jill), Michael (Larissa), Patrick (Adreanna), and Christopher (Lisa) Spears; grandchildren, Brittany Cooper (Curtis), Bethany, Giselle, Bennett, Evan, Haeli, Elianna Spears; sisters, Judy Schneidner (John), Adele Myers (Cecil), Christy Keeling; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Tom's life will be 10 a.m. Monday, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road "in St. Matthews" with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
