Thank you Mike for befriending me in the 7th grade at WHS. My family had just relocated to Louisville following my father's retirement from active Army service in 1961. We also attended church at Beechwood Baptist together as well. You helped make that transition almost bearable.

We stayed in touch after graduation when I attended a vo/tech school in Atlanta and then as you attended UK and I was on active duty in the Army Dental Corp. Your letters of adventures were great to receive while I was in TX and again in GA for my military obligation.

Your sincerity will be missed and I pray you are where there is no more pain and no more sorrow through this grace in which we live. You are a beloved brother in Christ, Clarke C. Moore, DMD ret.

Mike was a nice guy. Remember him from 7th grade. Funny too.

Besides high school memories Mike and I grew up on Mt Vernon Rd in St. Regis Park.  We shared playing ball on an empty lot, playing in a creek at the end of our street and climbing a haystack on the other side of the creek.  We probably both rode bikes to Shyrock Elementary school.   I know he will greatly be missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.  May God comfort them with sweet memories!
