(Brenda) Joyce McGaughey Markolf, 64, joined her soul mate, Bill in heaven on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013. Joy was born on Jan. 4, 1949, in Louisville, Ky. She graduated from Waggener High School and attended the University of Louisville. She met and married her high school sweetheart, Bill and together they formed and operated Markolf Enterprises, Inc. until his death in 2010.
