School Story:

High School Life? It's lonely.. I was in 1st year High School then when I had my first love.. She's Aleli Merle our classmate.. It was love at first sight then. She's morena and very pretty with her long black hair hanggang puwet..

I courted her but unfortunately basted ako.. Torpe kasi at tameme ako... Very shy.. Pero okay lang that's Life... I have so many crushes then in high school pero walang nangyari dahil sobra torpe, mahiyain at tameme ako kaya secret na lang..

Actually I have so many frustrations and dreams in life that's why I'm lonely then back in high school.. I wanted to be a priest and I wanted to study at Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Seminary in Sariaya but my father is opposed to the idea and don't want me to.. Kontrabida talaga siya sa buhay ko..

I was so confused then and became lonely.. I knew I had this "calling".. I'm so religious and an honor student back then in grade school @SHC. But then why do I have this obstacle?..

Until I met Sr. Esperanza Hallarsis our teacher in Religion @Maryhill Academy. It was from her that I learned that "It is not only in becoming a priest or a nun that you can serve God but in one thousand and one hundred ways".. That puzzled me.. I knew God has a message on me.. Maybe God has other plan for me..

I was really confused then.. I really don't know what to do.. I have to know myself better.. my talent, my skills.. everything that is God given.. And through this God's gifts I can better served Him..

It was in 1st year high school then when my literary skill was recognized by our English teacher. We were asked to submit a theme composition entitled "Something About Myself" and my work was chosen by our teacher as the best in the class.. I'm happy then but I was very shy and so our teacher read it infront of the class.. I was applauded and got good grades for that composition..

From then on, I realized that I had this literary gift from God and that I should develop it more and share this gift..

My 1st hand in scriptwriting and directing was in 3rd high school when we had a classroom play for our English class. I was the leader of the group and I wrote the script and directed it. We had our rehearsals after the class at 5pm. The play is graded and our group was chosen as the best in the class. The play entitled "Sure Why Not?" a comedy drama. My group includes Irma Alquiros, Cynthia Villaverde, Mildred PeƱaverde etc..

I'm very much happy about my achievements in school even how small it is... I just realized that we just have to use and develop whatever God given talent we have and share this for His glory.. In that way, by making others happy by what talent and gifts we have we are actuallly serving God in our own little way and perhaps maximize it for the benefit of all..

Right now, I'm into scriptwriting from time to time. I joined two scriptwritng contest for Star Cinema last 2000 and 2003. My first entry then was "SugarMommy" a sex/drama (2000) but it was "Jologs" by Ned Trespeces who won and got the award.

My second entry then was "Abot Kamay ang Bituin" a musical/drama (2003) but then again unfortunately I did not win. But it's okay for me, I'm not losing hope.. For me, it's worth the experience.. Maybe it's not yet my time to shine.. Maybe someday in the near future.. I love writing and I'll do it as long as I live..

By the way, I would like to thank my friends and classmates who have shared with me their precious time and happy moments eventhough I'm lonely then.. Thanks for being patient enough to be with me eventhough I'm a loner.. They are Gerry Cruz, Cecil AlcaƱeses, Raul de Luna, Jolan Origeneza, Gerry Cailing, Johnny Sta.Ana and more..

Thanks to you all for simply being a Friend... Take care and God bless...
