1) She is known for being the first accredited female umpire in the state of Texas. 2) Linda was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church of Zavalla, TX. 3) She was also an active member of American Legion Post #53. 4)She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. 5) Linda was a supervisor at Bell Oil Company, a paint supervisor at South Park BISD, co-owner of Bryan Construction, and manager of Shady Acres RV Park in Baytown. Our beloved friend was truly one-of-a-kind lady. We all had a blast growing up with Linda and still tell stories about her antics in junior high at Chance-Loeb and high school at Chance-Loeb which became Lumberton School District. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. "Our one-in-a-million girl!!"
