Greg Farrell If I remember correctly, she lived in Riverhead 25 years ago. Check those Suffolk County phone books.

Ginny Marti (Jacobs) Ray, I guess I didn't answer your question. For those who do not have or do not use a computer, we will use phone and snail mail. And we're hoping that word of mouth will locate some of those still missing. Again, I do hope you change your mind and join us on Oct 9, 2010. Ginny

Ginny Marti (Jacobs) PROFILE UPDATES NEEDED: Greg has added a line to the profile formatt to include your email addresses. When I edited mine, (scroll down to Member Functions to "edit profile") I saw that I could make a selection to limit the view to only classmates. This way it is not out there for the general public. Ginny

Greg Farrell Ray, I got the postcards too. There is a directory in the works and they probably have your correct information, but they want you to call so they can pitch the purchase of the book. It is esxpensive, but if you hold out they will offer a paper back version that is almost reasonable. Greg

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but very sorry to hear of Patty Sperber's hustband Harold Demarest passing. I remember having a nice conversation with him and Patty at the last Reunion. My heart goes out to Patty and the Family and Ray and I are thinking of you!

Since the 45th Class Reunion, has our class set up anything, maybe a scholarship or something else, to give back to Lynbrook High School.? The reason I ask this is that last year with the support of LHS I started the John F. Norris Scholarship. There were 3 recipients this year and 3 last year. I intend to continue this till the day I die. It's small but helpful to those who do receive it. However, if our class has some other give back action to our high school, I would be interested in being made aware of this.

That is terrific that you were able to do that, but, no, we haven't even given it a thought. We haven't done any serious fund raising beyond just financing he reunions. Maybe it's sometjing you could bring up at the next reunion.

You may recall that our Yearbook was dedicated to Mr. Norris. Personally, he had become a lifelong friend. My setting up this scholarship was long overdue. I am deeply indebted to him for his guidance in my life. He was a role model for me in terms of his upbeat, positive demeanor. He never asked me for anything in return. So, this scholarship is my way of "paying it forward" on his behalf.
