Just to say 'thanks' to you and Wally for initiating this. I am (a bit unexpectly) enjoying being reminded of that chapter of my life which felt very remote before.  And hearing from sundry old friends and acquaintances.  Look forward to more news and reminders, Carolyn

Thanks, Carolyn,

I am having a very similar reaction only I am getting to hear many more of the stories of where people have been. Hopefully, we will all get that chance over time and, where folks can attend, at the reunion.

Best,

Jerry

I was so sorry that I was unable to be at the reunion. I did, however, very much enjoy the posted pictures. . How lucky all of you were to have the company of Mr. Steiger- what a nice treat. Kudos  to Jerry and Wally for making this event possible. I hope that if there is a 55th, I'll be able to make it. Best regards to all of my Lynbrook classmates.

A greatful thanks to Jerry and Wally for their supurb efforts setting this reunion up and hosting it. My wife and I had a wonderful time seeing all who attended and the changes to Lynbrook since High School.

Greeting Mr Steiger was a real treat - he was one of the most memorable teachers - because he had such an impact on us all.

My studies and work took me to far off places and we returned only briefly a few times to Lynbrook as we traversed the world on assignments.  This was a great event to allow us to catch up with our old (emphasis on OLD) friends!

I look forward to another in five years and am planning on attending.

Let me know if you need any assistance then.

Dudley Fagan

I felt a real pang that I wasn't there when I heard what a good time it was, but the wonderful pictures and comments, plus a first-hand report from Judy Rose, made me feel closer to the reunion.  Everyone looks wonderful.  And dear.

Jerry and Wally did a great job and I am sure ther whole class appreciates that you guys made this happen for all of us. I enjoyed taking a brief trip back in time and I was sorry that I could/did not spend more time with some of the people I really wanted to see.  And I am sure that I missed seeing others because I did not recognize them!  Seeing Charles Steiger again was memorable.  I had him for 8th grade math and sophomore year geometry.  Whenever I see the initials W. I. O., I think of him.

Adding my thanks to Jerry and Walter. Your vision and hard work created the space for so much fun and connection and    joy and tears and memories and love. i had a great time and loved seeing everyone. It was amazing to me how quickly, after the first moment of non recognition due to eyes and the changes of  the years, I saw and felt each person's childhood livliness and sparkle. Mr Steiger was the first person I spoke with and in seconds it all came back, and I was there again, in his classroom, laughing with him.

I had a question, not sure if this is the place, but I wonder if the photos will be available after this website close in a year? If not, could we post them somewhere else if people did not object?

Glad you enjoyed the reunion, Ronnie,

It seemed to work well for everyone Wally and  I heard about. And the connections continue. Joyce Baraban is out in Seattle visiting her son (and getting together with Wally Parsons).

In terms of the photos and where they will be after the website is no longer being used, go to any photograph you like and right-click it. What I then do is click "save as" and save it to wherever I want to on my computer.

Best,

Jerry
