Going to a small high school is a huge privilege. My own children attend a high school that has over 3000 students with 6 other high schools in the county. They are amazed at the privileges we had at a small high school. Just to name a few...Homecoming activities that lasted all week and parades that were a big deal in our town, everyone knew everyone, proms that took place at the school and didn't cost $200 a person, pep rallies for every home game, teachers that genuinely cared for each student,etc.,etc., etc. the list goes on and on.
