After high school I attended and graduated from Calvin College. I met my husband John there and we moved to Madison, Wisconsin so he could complete his Masters at the University of Wisconsin. I worked in Marketing at Wisconsin Special Olympics and United Way for a few years and then took a job as an Editor for a medical research company. In 1999 we had our first daughter, Grace, and I continued to work part time. In 2002, Anya was born and I worked even less and eventually left the Editor job to work at home. I find myself now wearing many different hats as a mom and with my own little business. I make and sell various craft items, including jewelry. I also write book reviews for Christian Fiction publishers. And I do graphic design and web design work for my church and other clients. My girls are amazing kids and they bless me every day. I am enjoying our life in Wisconsin, in spite of the crazy winters here. My husband is a wonderful man and we are truly blessed.
