My life since June 1969:
BFA University of Denver...Falmouth England College of Art....L'Institute Culinaire Francaise...La Varenne, Paris.
Living in Colorado 'til 1976, then Ottawa, Canada; Back to Cleveland for a couple of years; Rochester, NY & finally NYC since '86. Artist turned arts administrator turned chef. Retired after 30+ years in the food business. Developed an inappropriate fondness for alcoholic beverages; sober since 1988.
Married to Lori, retired cookbook author & fellow global traveler.

Sad news. I've many fond childhood memories of Hal. He was a good guy, a mensch.
