Hey Steve, Long time no see (50 Years)! Hope life has treated you well. I found an old newspaper clipping (with picture) of the "Fringe of Society", and thought you might like to see it. Check it out in the photo file under my profile. I miss those days, and still have fond memories of our gigs and practices. As you may recall, I left the band near the end of our senior year, as I was going into the Air Force. We got some underclassman to take over my position in the band. I remember he was one strange dude, but could play like a guitar wizard... a thousand times better than I ever was. Do you remember his name? What ever happened to the band after I left? I don't know if you will be attending the reunion (I won't) but hope you have a great time if you do. Take care. Write back if you like. Would love to hear some stories of the good old days!

Hey Richie! It's been 46 years since we've spoken, but I remember well the day in the summer of 1972 when we ran into each other unexpectantly. I had just finished my 4-year stint in the service, and was working at Thom McAn shoe store in Cambridge for the summer, prior to my starting college at U. Mass. You had come in to buy your wife a pair of slippers. Although we were never "close" friends in high school (see my profile notes about my high school relationships), I always considered you a good guy and enjoyed hanging around with you and Phil Hoyt, with all of us living in the same neighborhood. I hope life has treated you well. Thanks for dedicating your life to a noble profession.
I won't be at the reunion, but hope you have a great time, and wish you all the best!
