The 1976 Iowa Democratic Results:
Uncommitted: 37%
Jimmy Carter: 27%
Fred Harris: 17%
Birch Bayh: 13%
Morris Udall: 6%
 
Considered an upset victory in Iowa, Jimmy Carter would later go on to take the Democratic nomination and ultimately win the general election.
